Standards...Organisational Reputation

Staff should be mindful of how their actions and behaviours may reflect on the organisation, even when they are not officially representing the company.

An organisation's code of ethics outlines the standards of appearance, behaviour and conduct expected of their employees, not only during working hours but also outside of work.

A code of ethics is about the standards of professional behaviour which staff will be expected to maintain even when they are not at work:

1. Integrity

2. Professionalism

3. Confidentiality

4. Respect and Diversity

5. Representing the Organisation

6. Compliance with Law

7. Social Responsibility

8. Safety and Health

9. Avoiding Conflicts of Interest

10. Social Media Usage:

It's important for staff to familiarise themselves with their organisation's code of ethics and any related policies to understand the specific standards expected of them during working hours and in their personal lives.

Violations of standards may result in disciplinary action, up to and including termination of employment.
