TERMS AND CONDITIONS

1. Definitions

 “Booking” means NVC Awareness’s process which is subject to acceptance of these terms.

 “Client” means the person, organisation or company which makes a booking.

 “Course” means the course or courses which are the subject of the Quotation and Booking.

 “Terms” means these booking terms and conditions.

 “Delegate” means any individual that has been registered to attend the courses.

 

2. Payment Terms

2.1    Our standard payment terms are that payment is taken at booking unless otherwise stated. If payment by invoice has been previously agreed, the payment needs to be made 30 days from the date of invoice or prior to the course start date, whichever is sooner. 

2.2    NVC Awareness reserve the right not to make refunds to Clients who book onto the wrong courses in error.

2.3    Delegate fees are payable upon booking unless agreed otherwise.

2.4.   Payments must be made in pound sterling by cheque, credit/debit card or BACS.

2.5.   Course places must be paid in full before the course date. Failure to pay may prohibit your entry to the course.

2.6.   If you pay by cheque which is subsequently returned by your bank unpaid, you will be asked to represent payment and you will incur an additional charge of £20 plus VAT to cover our administration costs and bank charges.

3. Course Bookings

3.1    Before booking onto any course, please ensure you have read the course details and programme details and content, to ensure the course meets your needs.

3.2    Bookings may be made via bank transfer or credited card.  Telephone bookings must be confirmed in writing upon request.

3.3    Upon receipt of your registration/booking form and subsequent payment your place(s) will be confirmed.

3.4    NVC Awareness’s acceptance of your booking brings into existence a legally binding contract between us on these terms and conditions. Any term sought to be imposed by you in any purchase order or correspondence will not form part of the contract.

 

4. Cancellations

4.1    Should circumstances mean that you have to cancel your course and are unable to transfer your booking to another date at the time of cancellation, the following charges will apply:

Two to four weeks prior to the start of the course (2 - 4 weeks)                          50% of the course fee

Less than two weeks prior to the start of the course (< 2 weeks)                        Full course fee

NB Cancellation must be made in writing and received by NVC Awareness by the due date.

4.2    Changes will become effective on the date of written confirmation being received.

4.3    In the event of a delegate named on the booking form being unable to attend, we will accept substitution of another delegate on the condition that written notification of the substitution has been received by us prior to the course date.

5. Non-attendance

5.1       If you do not attend a course, and you have not previously informed us, the full course fee remains payable.

 

6. Late Arrivals/Missed Sessions

6.1       If you arrive late for a course or are absent from any session, we reserve the right to refuse to accept you for training if we feel you will gain insufficient knowledge or skill in the time remaining. In all such cases, the full course fee remains payable.

 

7. Unforeseen Circumstances

7.1    On occasion, unforeseen circumstances may require us to cancel a course. In such circumstances, you will be given as much notice as possible, although please be aware that this is not always possible, and either a free transfer to another course date or a full refund of fees paid will be made. NVC Awareness shall not accept liability for any consequential loss and shall have no liability to reimburse any other costs that may have been incurred, including transport costs, accommodation etc.

 

8. VAT

8.1 All course fees are subject to the current VAT (valid exemptions only).

9. Entire Agreement

9.1    These terms and conditions cannot be varied except in writing and signed by NVC Awareness.

9.2    No terms and conditions incorporated within your purchase order and nothing said by any person on behalf of ICM should be understood as a variation of these terms and conditions or as an authorised representation about the nature or quality of any event organised and delivered by NVC Awareness.

9.3    These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with English Law and the parties agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English course
