Initial contact

NVC is committed to ensuring that people are treated equally and fairly based around their individual needs and differences.

 

First meeting

Training needs analysis – if not reviewed intelligently future training needs can prove to be very expensive.  We will work with you to ensure that appropriate training is prioritised and delivered to those staff who are in most urgent need of training.

 

Second meeting

Post-training evaluation – to identify how successful the training has been towards enhancing the safety of the staff and the people they support, we will work with you to conduct period reviews to measure the immediate, mid and long-term changes and effects to overall staff confidence at managing challenging behaviour within the workplace

 

Follow-up meeting

Post-incident review – we offer post incident guidance relating to the management review of challenging behaviours within the workplace where the use of reasonable (verbal, disengagement, holding and/or restraint) has been called into question.
