Wearing of facemasks in shops and supermarkets

Since the 15th June the wearing of face covering has been compulsory on public transport in England, and from the 24th July it will become compulsory when entering shops and supermarkets.

I have received a number of calls asking me “what to do”. Implying, can I tell people how to carry out their risk assessment. Without the sophisticated aid of technology, I and other are unable to inform you how to do this remotely. This has previously been discussed via a videoblog I did with Mark Dawes. A reminder that there is government guidance which provides the clear steps that need to be processed regarding risk assessments.

Additional consideration needs to be given to the measures you feel need to be in place to support or address members of the public who arrive and are not wearing face covering.
