Conflict Prevention and Management Training

The training is aimed at avoiding, defusing or managing conflict whilst reducing the risks of becoming a victim. Learning includes Health and Safety responsibilities, identification of risk areas and strategies to reduce those risks. Aggressor behaviour patterns, along with verbal and non-verbal communication skills; law and legislation, incident management and post incident support

Physical Intervention Training

The training is for delegates who are known to work in ‘high risk’ areas and follows on from the aims of the Conflict Management / Conflict Resolution training programme. This training is aimed at challenging behaviour where there is a ‘known’ risk of assault or physical injury. In addition to proactive measures to enhance safety within the workplace, the programme addresses the issues around the underpinning principles relating to the law and legislation.

Management Training

As the responsible appointee for managing the strategy around enhanced safety within the workplace, it is imperative that managers have the knowledge and appropriate understanding to ensure satisfactory outcomes for the staff, customer/client/patient and the company/organisation. Training will look at the health and safety responsibilities of managers and best practice in the reviewing and evaluating of all reported incidents of work related abuse, assault and/or violence.

Consultancy

In line with legislation we provide support and guidance which will assist with the development of proactive measures to avoid, reduce and management the risk of violence in the workplace. Additionally we can also provide support and guidance regarding the review and development of policies, procedures and statements as part of the wider post incident welfare review processes aimed at risk management.
